The project takes reference from ancient signs present in the Baranzate countryside: the plots in the fields in the construction of the territory, and the transversal paths, in an east-west direction, connecting the farmsteads, emerge clearly and mark with their presence the lines on which to define a new layout for the area.
Any singular presence in the Baranzate landscape, from farmsteads to ancient irrigation ditches and fountains, is identified by masses of trees; likewise, the area is enveloped by wide belts of trees that act as ‘buffers’, isolating it, protecting it and recovering contact with the surrounding land.
